Site cabin branding checklist

Site cabins are a flat wall and a name. The mistakes are covering a vent or a notice, and sticking onto flaking paint.

Before you order

Measure a clear run of wall. Note windows, doors and any plate that is already there. Send the name and the contact words typed, plus the logo file if you have one. One artwork for the fleet keeps later cabins matching.

Before you stick

Wash off green mould and site dust. Rinse and dry. Do not stick over soft or flaking coating. The film will peel and take the coating with it. Line the name up so it is level. Squeegee it. Do not bridge a panel joint if the joint moves.

A cabin is not lifting equipment. Do not add a thorough examination date because the forklift beside it has one. Date labels go on the equipment the report covers. Catalogue stickers in stock can dispatch the same day. Custom cabin panels are quoted.

If cabins are repainted between hires, stick after the paint is ready to take a film, not the same afternoon it is sprayed. A name that has to come off at the end of a hire should be ordered as a grade you can remove, and you should say that when you ask. One artwork file for every cabin avoids a different logo on each unit. Measure the clear wall on the smallest cabin as well as the largest. A panel designed for a long wall will not fit above a A panel designed for a long wall will not fit above a door on a compact unit. Measure the smallest cabin as well as the largest before you approve one size for all of them. A single size that only fits the biggest unit will come back for the rest of the fleet.
