Generator and lighting tower labels

Generators and lighting towers carry the same kinds of marks as the rest of a hire fleet: whose machine it is, any notice you want the user to see, and a date label where the machine is lifting equipment that needs one.

Do not mix the jobs

A name and a phone number tell the site who to call. A hire notice tells the user about damage or return condition, in your words. A thorough examination date applies where the equipment is lifting equipment under LOLER. Lighting towers and generators are not automatically that. Where a machine does lift, the thorough examination and the written report are the duty described by HSE and by regulation 9. The sticker only shows the date you supply. Titan does not carry out examinations.

Fitting

Use a flat panel, clear of heat, fuel caps and labels the manufacturer put there for a reason. Clean oil off before you stick. Fuel mist is a common reason these labels peel. Do not cover shutdown instructions or electrical warnings with a logo.

Ordering

Send the artwork and the panel width. In-stock catalogue stickers can dispatch the same day. Your name and any custom notice are quoted.

Say which machines actually lift, if you are also ordering date labels, and send the dates from the reports. We will not guess that a lighting tower needs a six-month label because a forklift on the same job has one. Fit fuel and electrical warnings where the manufacturer put them. A logo does not replace those. If the only flat space is next to a hot exhaust, do not use it. The film will wrinkle and the warning you covered will be The one someone needed should stay visible. If a label has to sit near fuel, say so, and we will not put a decorative name on top of a shutdown instruction.
